Luigi IRAUZQUI is an LA based designer, raised multi-culturally in South America and Europe.
His extensive travels and background truly influence his unique sense of style and design.
In 1997 he founded CASAVECCHIA Design Concepts to cater to the increasing demand for residential staging for high profile real estate clients. It would later transition into the current full service design, construction and TV staging firm CASAVECCHIA Design Group.
He has made his reputation not by drawing on formal traditional training but rather relying on his acute sense of aesthetics and composition, a curiosity for art, design and architecture and a talent for creating a decor that reflects his clients’ personalities.
He has worked on projects which include architectural design, furniture, industrial design, large scale event staging, retail stores, restaurant build-outs and a number of high profile private residences on both coasts and abroad.
His style is eclectic, with an emphasis on comfort: livable and practical, but luxurious, intimate and inviting.
An avid fan of clean lines, he mixes contemporary furniture with antiques with a generous use of color and texture: traditional yet bold.
His work has been published in design and trade publications such as Elle Décor, Harper’s Bazaar Interiors, Dwell and Marie Claire Maison and he was the recent focus of Home Sense: Simple Solutions. To Enhance Where and How you Live, a table book on interior design ideas and concepts.
TV appearances include HGTV, E! Style Network and the Home Channel Network and The Style Network.
Current projects include residences in West Hollywood, Old Town Pasadena, and Hollywood Hills as well
as international projects in Europe and Australia.
Clients include Hollywood A-Listers such as Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller, Christina Ricci and Kristin Cavallari.
His philosophy on interior design is simple: always keep an open mind and never be afraid to try new things.
